Toward the Next 100 Years: Redefining the World’s Medicine on a Foundation of Tradition.
For over 70 years since our founding, we have supported your everyday health and well-being through the development and manufacture of OTC medicines. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the stakeholders who have supported us over the years.
The pharmaceutical industry is now entering a time of great transformation. Rather than resting on our established development, manufacturing, and sale of OTC medicines, we are launching a new business that fuses cutting-edge technology with our distinctive expertise. To step onto this next stage of growth, we have renewed our company name and are taking a new step forward.
Building on the reliable pharmaceutical technology and dedication to quality cultivated throughout our history, we are taking on a new, cutting-edge field: the development and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for prescription medicines. With this, we have built a framework to support people’s health more comprehensively—from prevention to treatment and aftercare.
Even as our name changes, the spirit at our core—“respect for life” and “sincere craftsmanship”—remains unchanged.
Our new slogan is “Redefining Medicine. Restoring Health.”
For this challenge—one we might call our second founding—we have also renewed our organization to be more agile and transparent. With every employee holding “pride as a professional” and a “pioneering spirit,” we work as one toward “redefining medicine” and build the next generation of healthcare.
