This policy sets out the basic matters that the Company observes in order to appropriately manage and operate the personal information it holds.

The Company complies with the laws and standards relating to personal information.
2. Thorough and appropriate information management
The Company appoints a person responsible for managing personal information and takes appropriate preventive and corrective measures against the unauthorized use, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information. The Company also provides all workers with education and training on the handling of personal information and works to manage it appropriately. Corporate information is treated on the same level as personal information and is also subject to management.

When collecting personal information, the Company clarifies its purpose of use in advance and collects it within the necessary scope.
4. Use of personal information
The Company does not use, provide, or entrust the personal information it has collected beyond the scope of the following purposes, or beyond the scope of requests based on laws and standards: consideration of the content of consultations and inquiries regarding the Company’s products and services, related investigation and response, and communication with and provision to manufacturers, distributors, and medical professionals of products. However, this does not apply where the customer’s consent has been obtained, or where the information has been anonymized so that individuals cannot be identified.
5. Restriction and management of use
The Company keeps the personal information it holds confidential and manages it appropriately so as not to handle it beyond the scope of collection or beyond the scope of requests based on laws and standards. When exchanging personal information with external parties within the scope of collection, the Company supervises such handling under strict management.
6. Continuous improvement
In order to manage personal information appropriately, the Company keeps track of changes in laws, standards, and information technology, and continuously reviews and improves its management framework.
